CAMP LIVEGIRL OVERVIEW

“A week-long camp, a life-long perspective”

2017 THEME:  Be Yourself. Inspire The World!

WHO: Rising 6th-9th grade girls from across Connecticut/NY

WHAT:  Be inspired! Camp LiveGirl will bring together 125 middle school girls (+ 25 high school mentors) to EMPOWER & INSPIRE. Explore new interests, passions, careers and the power of you … all while having fun in a diverse, team-based environment. Girls come away with improved self-confidence, communication, and relationship skills. Personalized afternoon schedule includes multi-sports or musical theatre. A camp like no other!!

NEW THIS SUMMER: Girls will select from INSPIRE workshops, including STEM (Cryptography) lab, HERstory, Express Yourself writing lab, poetry, yoga, and more! We will also show the movie HIDDEN FIGURES for an extra special end-of-camp celebration!

WHY: Our research shows that girls feel empowered and more confident to explore their interests and passions in an all girl environment! 😍

HOW: Our high school mentor:camper ratio is 8:1. By using a small team model, all girls immediately feel a positive sense of belonging at camp and form close bonds with their teammates.

CAMP FEE: $350 tax-deductible donation to LiveGirl Inc., includes transportation, t-shirt, backpack, lunch & snacks. (Scholarships & payment plans available.) After you register, you will receive an email with payment instructions. EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT: $325 BY MARCH 15TH.
