   Featuring EMILY DonahOe-O'Keefe

Founder/Principal WOMENSPEAK Training

Join us for a parent/daughter workshop to gain experience and confidence with your public speaking skills, an essential leadership skill.

Girls and women consistently do not "speak up" – in part because of long existing gender norms. Many girls and women have been socialized to use language differently in public spaces, and have less experience speaking in public as a result of their social and political history as a group. Join us for this best practices public communications class that includes an overview of current research regarding gender difference in establishing credibility and relevance in public, and skills for persuasive advocacy.

The book is smart, fun, easy-to-read and filled with useful tricks and techniques to raising happier daughters in this new social media generation.
