Alison Waller


Alison Waller graduated from the University of Hartford with a major in History and minor in Gender Studies and completed her Master’s Degree in Women’s History from Sarah Lawrence College.  Most recently, Alison served as Program Manager for Women Presidents' Educational Organization (NYC). Prior to this role, she worked for the American Friends Service Committee and was a Congressional intern for Congresswoman Carolyn B. Maloney (D-NY). You may email Alison at


Megan Keane, Research/Advocacy

Megan Keane is a junior at Sacred Heart University, with an English major and minor in Women’s Studies. At SHU, she is a Resident Advisor and President of Alpha Phi Omega, a service fraternity. She is looking forward to receiving her Bachelors in English in 2019 and her Masters in Secondary Education in 2020. She spends her time jumping from the LiveGirl office to class to an afterschool program she works at another one that she runs. She is excited to be a part of LiveGirl and empower girls all around her. 


Sophie Westfall, Creative Design (Social Media) Intern

Sophie is a Communication Design student at Parsons School of Design in New York City. She has a passion for painting and for learning new talents. She believes that everyone deserves to be who they are in this world and to have a fair chance in doing what they love.

The LiveGirl Fellowship Program is designed to provide service leadership experience for extraordinary high school seniors who have demonstrated leadership potential and initiative while involved in LiveGirl throughout their high school years. Fellowship assignments include research, advocacy, and creative design responsibilities in support of LiveGirl’s leadership and girl empowerment programs. Executive mentors will encourage their ambition, empower their confidence, and prepare them for future leadership positions.


Amelia Wyckoff is a senior at St. Luke's School in New Canaan. She loves to play piano, act, sing, and tap dance. Amelia has a keen interest in social justice and plans to pursue a related course of study in college. She served as a full-time LiveGirl intern this summer and is excited to continue her work as a LiveGirl fellow during her senior year




Eliza Pohle is a senior at New Canaan High School. She is a member of the soccer and basketball teams and has been involved in her church Youth Group since her freshman year. Eliza also has a love for the outdoors that took her on a month-long expedition in Washington State this summer. She is excited and grateful for the opportunity to work with LiveGirl, applying her talents of photography and research.


Victoria Iparraguirre is a senior at The Academy of Information Technology and Engineering in Stamford. She was born to perform and is a talented emerging fashion designer. Victoria enjoys empowering the young girls of the future, and is honored to be a part of the LiveGirl fellowship program.


Ava Nichols is a Junior at New Canaan High School and the Co-President of the school’s Art Club. She was born in Paris and attended school in London, where she spent much of her time performing on the stage. After moving to New Canaan in 2015, Ava became involved in the community through her passion for photography. She is currently the volunteer photographer for the New Canaan Land Trust and the intern photographer for LiveGirl. Ava is proud to be involved in such an uplifting program and she feels inspired by the strong LiveGirl community.
